All garments whether vintage, handmade, or up-cycled will have the measurements and how the material best fits listed in the description. Yes! Whether its a bridal babydoll or fun bustier for a night out (some of the custom orders that have been made) we love playing fairy godmother and hearing your ideas to help bring it to life! Once upon a time, Megan's grandmother was a seamstress who sewed and up-cycled as a way to support her immigrant family and be frugal with old clothing and scraps. Through this childhood of learning to sew from her family and taking art lessons, Megan found joy in expressing her creativity whether it was through clay crafts and friendship bracelets or painting her own t-shirts to make cooler merch (why do girls always get lame stuff when it comes to "boy" interests like Marvel). In high school, the elective art classes pushed her to pursue art school and in 2018 Megan was accepted to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After studying animation her first semester, she realized she did not want to continue this path and took a beginner fashion class to grow the basic skills she already had. This opened a new passion and thus MEGYWONG the brand was born.
